E3 Recruitment to Take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Charity
On Friday 12th September, over 25 members of the E3 Recruitment team will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a demanding 24-mile hike that includes the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, all within 12 hours.
This isn’t just a team-building challenge, we’re doing it to raise vital funds for The Howarth Foundation, a charity close to our hearts that does incredible work helping individuals who are homeless, or vulnerable find long-term employment.
Supporting The Howarth Foundation
Our partnership with The Howarth Foundation began with a shared belief—that employment can be life-changing. The charity’s “Business Building Futures” programme works by connecting people who are ready to re-enter the workforce with businesses that can offer them meaningful employment opportunities. At E3R, we’re proud to be part of this initiative, not only as fundraisers but also as advocates for inclusive hiring. We are proud to have The Howarth Foundation as our charity partner and have formed a strong and lasting relationship with their team.
Why the Yorkshire Three Peaks?
The challenge reflects our company culture: ambitious, collaborative, and committed. Climbing nearly 5,200 feet across three of Yorkshire’s most iconic peaks is no small feat, but it’s the perfect metaphor for the journey many Howarth Foundation clients face—and why our support matters.
We’ll be sharing updates on our training, fundraising progress, and the challenge day itself, so keep an eye on our LinkedIn and join us in supporting this amazing cause.

Teamwork That Goes Beyond the Workplace
Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks isn’t just about the physical challenge — it’s also an opportunity to step away from our desks, strengthen team bonds, and gain a fresh perspective.
Team-building challenges like this give us the chance to reconnect with colleagues and support each other in a completely different setting.
Tackling something physically and mentally demanding together helps develop:
- Stronger communication
- Collaborative problem-solving
- A sense of shared achievement
Spending a day outdoors in the Yorkshire countryside boosts wellbeing, motivation, and morale—benefits that come back with us when we return to work.
