E3 Recruitment Partners with The Howarth Foundation and Takes on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
E3 Recruitment is excited to announce our partnership with The Howarth Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced homelessness get back into work. As a recruitment business that supports the manufacturing and engineering industries, we know how life-changing employment can be.
We’re committed to making a real difference, both through raising funds and offering direct support to those who need it most.
Why The Howarth Foundation?
We believe everyone deserves the chance to build a better future, and The Howarth Foundation is making that possible for individuals who’ve experienced homelessness. Their work aligns with our values—helping people gain independence through employment and build on skills to give them lifelong careers and futures.
Tracie Norton, Director at E3 Recruitment, said:
“Employment is more than just earning—it’s about stability, confidence, and opportunity. At E3 Recruitment, we see firsthand how the right job can change someone’s life. Whether it’s supporting candidates through career changes, helping ex-forces personnel transition back into work, or guiding people facing redundancy through our redeployment events, we’re committed to making a real impact.
The Howarth Foundation is doing fantastic work to help people rebuild their lives through meaningful employment, and we’re proud to support them.”
What is the Business Building Futures – Street 2 Feet Initiative?
The Business Building Futures – Street 2 Feet initiative is all about getting people back on their feet by connecting them with businesses that can offer meaningful employment. Through this initiative, participants receive:
- Job opportunities – Local businesses provide stable, sustainable roles.
- Support at work – Including mentorship, training, and workplace integration.
- Practical assistance – Travel costs, work clothing, and food allowances to help them start strong.
By taking part in this initiative, businesses like E3R are helping break the cycle of homelessness and give people a real chance to succeed.
Our Commitment
We’re not just raising money; we’re providing our expertise to the Howarth Foundations clients, we’ll be:
- Providing career advice and support.
- Connecting individuals with our clients and job opportunities.
- Helping new hires settle into the workplace with the right support.
This is more than charity for us—it’s about creating real, lasting change in our community. Through our work with The Howarth Foundation, we’re ensuring that individuals who have faced homelessness have the tools, support, and opportunities they need to build a successful career.
Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
The Howarth Foundation is a small, family-run charity making a huge difference in the lives of those who have experienced homelessness. Every donation helps them continue their work, providing life-changing support to people ready to rebuild their futures. To help raise funds and awareness, our team will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in September 2025.
Our challenge was inspired by Carl Hedley, a former client of The Howarth Foundation who has transformed his life and is now a Client Support Worker for the charity, helping others do the same. Carl has been instrumental in setting up our partnership with the charity, and his work has changed countless lives. People like Carl—and Andy, another key figure in the foundation—show just how powerful the right support can be in making lasting change.
For many of the individuals The Howarth Foundation supports, finding employment is the hardest but most important step. And that step is made possible by mentors, employers, and organisations willing to invest in people’s futures.
We believe that no one should have to face that journey alone. By taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, we’re proving our commitment to breaking down barriers, creating opportunities, and making a real, tangible difference.
Get Involved
We’d love for our clients, candidates, and business partners to get involved. Whether that’s through donations, sharing our fundraising page, or even joining us on the challenge, your support will make a real impact.
