Lockdown 2.0

Lockdown 2.0

Today as we begin the second national lockdown, the importance of UK manufacturing and construction has been highlighted, with both industries being able to continue operations throughout the four week lockdown and their employees being granted permission to leave their homes to attend their workplace.

Being a specialist recruiter for both manufacturing and construction will continue to recruit for both throughout the lockdown 2.0, helping businesses strengthen their workforces with temporary, contract and permanent hires in key business functions.

In lockdown 1.0 we are proud to have worked with the nation’s biggest Retailers and Food Producers to help them meet the extra demand; Chemical and Pharmaceutical companies as they produced sanitisers, cleaning products and medicines; Offsite Construction manufacturers with modular buildings being required to assist with the delivery of schools, hospitals and other public places. As well as continuing to serve the Defence, FMCG, Utilities and Energy sectors that are all vital to ensure the country keeps operating and running efficiently.

This lockdown construction sites can continue, therefore there is a continued requirement for all the products used on sites, with E3R’s Building and Construction Products team actively recruiting into this sector.

If you have recently been made redundant and you are seeking employment, we can provide advice and support with CV writing, interview best practice and the routes to job seeking in the current climate.

The next four weeks will create lots of challenges for many, but here at E3R we will continue to support the industries we serve, strengthening their workforce with the right people; from board level and strategic permanent hires, through to temporary shop floor technicians, which could be essential for sickness cover solutions, or a temporary shift in skills requirements.

We are here to provide practical advice and support as we are recruitment experts in our fields and can provide the tools needed including a video interviewing platform and PPE, to make the process of recruiting at this time streamlined and efficient.
