E3R client celebrates 80th birthday in style

E3R was delighted to make a lifelong Huddersfield Town fan very happy on his 80th birthday, thanks to the company’s partnership with Huddersfield Town Football Club.

Alec McDade, Mac’s Trucks founder turned 80 last week and E3R surprised the season ticket holder with a visit from the football club’s Commercial Director, Sean Jarvis who presented Alec with a signed shirt by the full team.

Alec started Mac’s Trucks nearly 50 years ago and has seen the company grow from strength to strength with a brand-new purpose-built workshop and offices opening last year just off Lindley Moor Road in Huddersfield, next to the M62.

Mac’s Trucks buy, build and provides aftersales care in house, with their primary business activity is the production and manufacture of HGV vehicles. This encompasses niche products such as Tippers, Crane & Plant, Curtainsiders, Box Vans, Beavertails, Cheesewedges, Skips & Hooks and Removal Vehicles.

Rodger Morley, E3R Recruitment Consultant commented: “Mac’s Trucks is an institution in the local area and the automotive and fleet sector, a sector that E3R serves with talent solutions. We are proud to have worked with them for two years having supported their expansion and growth with our market knowledge and experience, working in partnership. We have recruited a range Auto Electricians, Welder Fabricators and Commercial Paint Sprayers to strengthen their team.”

Alec McDade commented: “I’d like to thank Sean and E3 Recruitment for arranging this wonderful gift – it will have pride of place in the office. It’s a shame my team didn’t win the local derby, but I have certainly enjoyed my celebrations.”
