E3R celebrates fifth birthday with Evolution launch

Engineering and manufacturing recruitment specialist E3R is celebrating its fifth birthday with the launch of Evolution, its strategy for growth for the next five years, which highlights its continued focus on its specialist sectors and working in partnership with industry bodies.

E3R has been at the forefront of engineering and manufacturing recruitment in Yorkshire and the UK for the last five years and the agency has grown from strength to strength with its financial results echoing this, with a turnover of over £8million which has experienced 25-30% compound growth since 2013.

The agency, who’s head office is based in Huddersfield and has a South Yorkshire office in Rotherham, employs 24 people and was formed when four competing recruiters – the four founding Partners/Directors Tracie Norton, Andrew Pilling, James Soden and Andrew Joseph – joined forces and all four have never looked back.

Andrew Pilling commented; “We have been very fortunate to win a number of key contracts providing recruitment solutions for some multinational clients. In addition, our strong working relationships with a loyal customer base means the agency has a strong market presence which we want to build on.

“According to recruitment industry body REC, employment will continue to grow in 2018, but the rate of growth is predicted to be slower over the next three years. We have weathered difficult times before, but this is why we need to differentiate our offering, which is why E3R continues to champion a sector approach.”

E3R specialist sector teams, means continuity of contact for clients and candidates alike, with consultants who build in-depth knowledge of the sectors they work within which include; Aerospace, Automotive & Fleet, Building & Construction Products, Chemical & Pharmaceutical, Energy & Utilities, General Manufacturing, Food & Drink, FMCG and Oil & Gas.

The agency’s new website reflects this with sector specific webpages which include sector roles and news. It also reflects the agencies partner approach, working closely with industry affiliates such as manufacturing and engineering networks EEF and Made in Yorkshire, where E3R is the only recruitment patron, and will be exhibiting at the MIY EXPO 2018 on 17th May at Elland Road, Leeds.

James Soden continued; “Just recently E3R became an Associate Member of British Precast, a trade association for the UK precast concrete industry which reflects the agency’s focus on the Building & Construction Products, following a number of client wins with manufacturers within this sector, and now we want to build on this knowledge and grow the sector further. As a result, we will be exhibiting at the Precast Conference & Expo 2018 at Silverstone on 17th May.”

“With a changing employment landscape, along with the issues of skills shortages and increasing legislation, E3R’s focus and expertise in its specialist sectors enables our clients and candidates to be confident in the recruitment, talent management and structured process solutions we deliver.”
