E3R and Forget Me Not Childrens Charity Introduce David Walliams

E3 Recruitment, Engineering and Manufacturing Recruitment specialists were delighted to co-organise and deliver an exclusive and live zoom event that took place Friday, 15th May with DAVID WALLIAMS and JACK CARROLL of Britain’s Got Talent Fame.

The event provided a live and exclusive interview with David, whilst also providing a Q & A session for all participants of the event, to ask David a wide range of questions. It was fantastic how David was happy to interact with the audience, to deliver a unique piece of family friendly entertainment in which children could speak with the World famous author and entertainer.

The event was the second of a series of comedy nights, designed to raise valuable funds to support E3R’s charity partner Forget Me Not. The first event provided delivered Jason Manford, with the hope of the live Friday night video casts with comedians raising thousands of pounds for the charity, which is currently losing around £7,000 a day due to the impact of coronavirus.

Georgia Lane, Forget Me Not’s regional fundraiser said: “Coronavirus has had such a huge impact on our ability to raise funds. Our shops are all closed, our normal events have been cancelled and our usual fundraising activity has all but stopped. But families still need us, so we need to keep raising money – and that means finding new ways to do it. That’s why it’s fantastic to have Jack and all of his guests on board – plus, everyone needs a good laugh right now, and these events will provide just that!”

James Soden, Director at E3 Recruitment who are sponsoring the events added, “At times like this, it’s more important than ever to work collaboratively. When we heard of the challenges that our charity partner Forget Me Not were experiencing, there was no doubt that we had to make available our resource and expertise to work in partnership with them to deliver some positivity during this challenging time for all.”

The Forget Me Not Children’s hospice offers palliative care services to children and young people from across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield. Further details can be found at: https://www.forgetmenotchild.co.uk/
