E3 Recruitment Help Bradford Manufacturers Innovate

As businesses throughout Bradford plan for the year ahead, whether through developing new technology, changing supply chain or enhancing a process, it’s important to ensure they are aware of the support available to them for innovation.

Through its initiative Bradford Manufacturing Weeks, the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is holding a free online event targeted at manufacturers on Tuesday 1st February, 8:30am – 10:30am.

Bradford Manufacturing Weeks sponsors E3 Recruitment (E3R), Barclays, Naylor Wintersgill, Bradford Council and LCF Law are helping to deliver the event to help those in the manufacturing industry understand funding, employment, supply chain law, research and development tax relief.

E3R’s Principal Consultant Chris Taylor will give a short presentation on the skills shortage due to an ageing workforce; How to attract employees through your employer brand and promoting being a great place to work; And how to retain candidates ensuring they have engaged with your business and have a positive experience.

Commenting on the event Chris Taylor said: “It will be great to give something back to the manufacturers of Bradford who helped make Bradford Manufacturing Weeks a success. Skills shortages, attracting the right candidates and retaining them is an issue we are familiar with and we have the solutions to overcome this.”

Mark Davies, Chairman and Founder of Think OTB will share his experience on increasing profitability through Innovation, growing sales, changing culture, and overcoming challenges.

Nick Garthwaite, Chair of Bradford Manufacturing Weeks, commented: “Now more than ever, businesses need help in so many ways. Help and guidance with the support available for manufacturers, for example, with Research & Development tax credits, but more than that, help with Innovative thinking, to quote an often-used phrase “thinking outside the box”. This event will give a flavour of that and the other elements of great support available.”

The event takes place on Tuesday 1st February 8:30am – 10:30am via Zoom. If you are interested in attending, please register via the Bradford Manufacturing Weeks website: https://bradfordmanufacturingweek.co.uk/
