CNC Programmer required to join a market-leading engineering specialist in Bradford, offering early finishes every Friday, structured career progression and long-term stability within a precision engineering environment.

This long-standing manufacturer is renowned for its quality and technical excellence. The successful CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machine tools to produce high-precision components from one-off prototypes through to small batch production.

What’s on offer for the CNC Programmer:

  • £17.60 per hour
  • 38 hours per week
  • Monday – Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
  • Friday: 07:45 – 12:45
  • 28 days holiday plus additional service-related holiday
  • 3 days off at Christmas
  • Annual bonus
  • 3% employee / 5% employer pension

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

  • Programme, set and operate HAAS CNC machinery.
  • Create and modify CNC programs using OneCNC CADCAM software.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • Produce high-quality precision components to specification.
  • Carry out inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and quality.

CNC Programmer Requirements:

  • Previous CNC programming experience within a precision engineering environment.
  • Experience with CADCAM software.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
  • Experience machining steel, aluminium and other engineering materials.
  • Time-served apprenticeship or engineering qualification desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
