What motivates you in your role?

What drives me is helping candidates find not just any job, but the right job, one that aligns with their values, skills, and long-term goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to help someone land a role with their employer of choice. One standout moment for me was placing an Operations Manager, a strategic hire that brought genuine value to a long-standing client, and helping them reach their business objectives.

What can Clients and Candidates expect from you?

Clients and candidates who work with me know I’m committed to going the extra mile. I build honest, transparent relationships and always aim to deliver more than expected. Whether I’m filling a tough vacancy or supporting someone through a career shift, I’m fully invested in getting the best possible outcome.

I bring strong people skills into recruitment, built through years of experience in roles where communication and connection were key. That background helps me relate to a wide range of people and approach every conversation with empathy and effectiveness.

What Challenges Is the Industry Facing?

Right now, one of the biggest challenges in engineering and manufacturing is the widening skills gap. There’s a huge demand for hands-on talent, but not enough people entering the field through training or education. I stay close to industry news and events so I can stay ahead of these issues and find creative solutions for my clients.

What Advice would you give someone looking for a new role?

My advice is simple: knowledge is key. The more you understand about your craft, your value, and the wider opportunities available, the more confident and empowered you’ll be to make your next move.

How have you developed since working in recruitment?

Since starting in recruitment, my role has evolved massively. I’ve developed the confidence to lead more strategic – and at times difficult – conversations with clients. I’ve also learned the value of resilience. Things don’t always go to plan in this line of work, but staying focused and keeping momentum is what makes the difference.

What’s It Like Working at E3R?

What I appreciate most about working at E3R is the work-life balance and the strength of the team. It’s a genuinely collaborative place where people support one another, and that makes all the difference day to day.

What Do you Enjoy Outside of Work?

Outside of work, I’m all about sport, good food, and spending time with friends. My colleagues would probably describe me as a team player, loyal, charismatic, and always up for getting stuck in.
