Due to organic growth, this long-established employer is actively searching for Welder Fabricators to join their team on a permanent basis.

This Pontefract based employer is commutable from surrounding towns and cities including, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield and Leeds.

Key Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator

  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to accurately fabricate components to specification.
  • Measure, mark out, cut, bend and assemble metal materials using a range of fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Check drawings, specifications and required parts before starting work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Fabricate, weld and construct metal components using mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet materials.
  • Grind, finish and inspect completed products, carrying out quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards.
  • Complete quality documentation and adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

  • Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator or Metal Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • The ability to confidently read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings and work accurately to specification.
  • Experience working with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet materials across a range of thicknesses.
  • Strong fabrication and welding skills, with experience using a variety of metalworking tools and equipment.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality, with the ability to carry out inspections and complete quality documentation accurately.

Working Hours of the Welder Fabricator

  • Monday- Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-13:00
  • OR
  • Monday- Thursday 16:00-02:30

In Return, The Welder Fabricator will receive.

  • Hourly Rate- £17.38-£20.86 (Dependant on experience).
  • Holiday Entitlement- 31 days (inclusive of bank holidays).
