An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent automotive dealership near Halifax, with a salary of up to £45k.

The family-run business has over 60 years’ experience providing excellent customer service, and as a result is growing, with a new workshop opening to meet customer demand with a commitment to quality service.

Working with modern equipment and tools in a dynamic environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining modern Land Rovers.

  • Salary of up to £45k (dependant on experience)
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Paid overtime available

Key duties of the Vehicle Technician:

  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing faults accurately
  • Completing job cards and service documentation
  • Working closely with the wider workshop team
  • Delivering quality workmanship that keeps customers coming back.

Experience Required for the Vehicle Technician:

  • NVQ Level 3 or IMI in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Someone who takes pride in doing the job right first time.
