Looking for a leadership role with a successful, well-invested food manufacturer? This is a Shift Production Manager opportunity where you’ll be given the autonomy to develop, and support your team while playing a key role in the ongoing success of the site. As Shift Production Manager, you’ll have real influence over both operational performance and team development within a growing business that values its people.

Night Shift (17:15 – 06:00):
Week 1, Sun – Tues
Week 2, Sat – Tues

About the Role

As Shift Production Manager, you will be the most senior person on site during nights and some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your department to ensure all departmental KPIs are achieved and customer orders are fulfilled.
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring your team to drive engagement and maintain high levels of performance.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to look for more effective ways of working.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, with a strong focus on product quality.

About You

This is an ideal opportunity for a Production Manager looking for a new challenge, or a Shift Manager or Supervisor looking to step into a Production Manager position for the first time.

  • Strong team leadership skills gained in food manufacturing, with chilled, high-risk experience being ideal but not essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of lean manufacturing, GMP, and CI tools and techniques.
  • A collaborative, people-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise orders and workloads quickly and effectively to meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrable record of ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
