Employing over 500 across the world, this long-established engineering organisation supply a variety of industries with complex flow control products, including Valves, Pumps, and Actuators. This organisation is currently in the process of investing £1.8m into their facilities, equipment and workspace.

Because of continued demand of their versatile product range, this organisation are currently recruiting a number of a positions, including a permanent Quality Inspector vacancy.

This employer is LEEDS based, meaning the successful Quality Inspector will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Castleford, Pontefract, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Wetherby and Harrogate.

For the Quality Inspector position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

  • Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 etc.)
  • Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally within a Mechanical Engineering environment
  • The ability to read, interpret and work directly from engineering drawings as well as the ability to effectively use hand measuring instruments (micrometres, verniers, callipers etc.)

In return, the Quality Inspector will receive:

  • Annual Salary: Up to £30,000.00 (£16.02 per hour)
  • Holiday Entitlement: 30 Days including public holidays
  • Working Hours: Day shifts spread over 36 hours per week – flexibility offered on start & finish times
  • Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (3% employer / 5% employee)
  • Company Sick Pay after 12 months’ service
