We are working with a market-leading manufacturer to recruit a Production Operative working Monday to Friday, 8- 4, with a salary of £33,000 at their Widnes facility.

The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work as part of a small team, have good communication skills and a keen work ethic, with experience of a production factory environment, working towards company expectations and targets. In return, the company will offer industry-leading training and the opportunity for a permanent contract.

Roles and responsibilities of a Production Operative;

  • The production of high-quality products operating production machinery
  • The manual packing and movement of heavy products
  • Observations, tests and assessments of product to ensure quality control compliance, in-line removal and replacement of sub-standard product
  • Minor maintenance of plant and equipment, clean down of equipment at the end of production
  • Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S housekeeping and environmental management

Requirements as a Production Operative;

  • Worked on an automated Production line
  • Monitoring machinery and reporting issues
  • Heavy industry experience is preferable
  • A current FLT License would be desirable
