Due to continued demand of their services, this employer is actively searching for a Production Engineer to join their skilled engineering team on a permanent basis.

As this ROCHDALE based employer is just minutes from the M62, the successful Production Engineer will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Oldham, Bury, Halifax, Middleton, Huddersfield and Manchester.

For the Production Engineer position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

  • Formal qualifications within a Mechanical Engineering or Machining focused discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC Level 3, HNC, HND or similar)
  • Strong CNC Machining skills and knowledge – ideally an accomplished Machinist who has progressed into an Offline Programming or similar position
  • The ability to create bespoke CNC programs from scratch using CAD/CAM software (all packages considered – SolidCAM experience is advantageous)
  • IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Previous experience spent working in a Heavy Engineering environment

Working Hours of the Production Engineer:
Day shifts with a 39-hour minimum weekly contract; the successful candidate will be offered flexibility around start & finish times between the below times (latest start time 8.30am):

  • Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
  • Friday – 06:00 to 15:00

On offer to the successful Production Engineer:

  • Starting Salary: Up to £45,000.00 / £22.18 per hour
  • Holiday Entitlement: 35 days including public holidays
  • Option to work regular midweek and Saturday morning overtime:
    • 150% paid between 39-48 hours worked
    • 200% paid after 48 hours worked
