A great opportunity for a TIG Pipe Welder to join an established engineering business that specialise in Quality Pipework and Structural Fabrications.

The client has been in South Yorkshire for over 30 years, working on a number of high value projects in Utilities, Waste to Energy and Power Generation.

They have worked on numerous national projects aswell as recently international projects.

DUTIES INCLUDE FOR ROLE OF TIG PIPE WELDER :

  • Review engineering drawings for parts to be Pipe welded.
  • Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and requirements.
  • Perform Pipe welding activities on Mild and Stainless-steel pipes and other metals as may be required from time to time.
  • Fully satisfy schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE OF TIG PIPE WELDER :

  • You will be competent working on stainless steel Thin-Wall Pipe and Schedule-Pipe using TIG process.
  • You will be adept in TIG Welding, be able to work with mild/stainless steel/carbon and must be able to read drawings.
  • To be successful you must be Apprentice trained or have an NVQ Level 3.
  • Be able to test on a section of 150 stainless steel pipe single run.

THE OFFER FOR THE ROLE OF TIG PIPE WELDER :

  • Basic Salary £49,400 per Annum + Overtime
  • 50 plus hours available Monday/Friday plus Saturday AM.
  • Overtime available paid at time and a half Saturday AM.
  • Double time from Saturday noon /Sundays.
  • All hours paid including breaks.
