Due to organic growth, this long-established employer is actively searching for Paint Sprayers to join their team on a permanent basis.

This Pontefract based employer is commutable from surrounding towns and cities including, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield and Leeds.

Key Responsibilities of the Paint Sprayer.

  • Prepare, coat, and finish a variety of components and structures using industrial paint systems.
  • Operate airless, air-assisted airless, and conventional spray-painting equipment to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Mix and apply two-pack coatings, including epoxy primers and protective paint systems, in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Carry out surface preparation, masking, and finishing activities to ensure coatings are applied correctly and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure coating quality, coverage, and specification requirements are met.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety procedures and keeping work areas clean and organised.

  • Proven experience working as an Industrial Spray Painter within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
  • Hands-on experience using airless, air-assisted airless, and conventional pressure pot spray equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of two-pack paint systems, including epoxy primers and protective industrial coatings.
  • Experience applying coatings to C3-C5 corrosion protection standards.
  • The ability to read and follow technical specifications, ensuring coatings are applied accurately and to the required standard.

Working Hours of the Paint Sprayer.

  • Monday- Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-13:00
  • OR
  • Monday- Thursday 14:00-00:30

In Return, The Paint Sprayer will receive.

  • Hourly Rate- £17.38-£20.86 (Dependant on experience).
  • Holiday Entitlement- 31 days (inclusive of bank holidays).
