MRP Scheduler – 18 Month FTC

A leading engineering and manufacturing organisation is looking for an experienced MRP Scheduler to join their team on an 18-month FTC, offering a salary of up to £50,000 per annum.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced MRP Scheduler, Production Planner or Manufacturing Planner who is confident using SAP within a manufacturing environment and wants to work in a highly regulated, technically advanced sector.

What’s on offer:

  • Up to £50,000 per annum DOE
  • 18-month FTC
  • Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • Flexi-time – accrue up to an additional 12 days’ annual leave

The Role:

You’ll play a key role in keeping production schedules on track, working closely with Production, Engineering and Project Management teams to identify risks, resolve issues and minimise delays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining production orders in SAP
  • Monitoring progress and identifying bottlenecks, delays and schedule slippage
  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Identifying risks around material shortages and production capacity
  • Ensuring Engineering changes and revisions are accurately reflected in SAP
  • Maintaining work centre capacity and holiday calendars in SAP
  • Communicating schedule changes and delays to key stakeholders

What you’ll need:

  • Extensive SAP experience – Essential
  • SAP experience within a manufacturing environment – Essential
  • Previous experience in MRP, Production Planning or Scheduling
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and proactively identify risks
  • Defence, Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience would be advantageous
