The Mobile HGV Technician Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a world-renowned, multinational company supporting the service, repair and maintenance of specialist Heavy Vehicles

This role will be covering the North of London and surrounding areas – working with an International Vehicle Manufacturer providing service and repair support for their vehicles in transport depots, airports, MOD Sites etc.

If you have experience as an Heavy Goods Engineer, PSV Technician/Bus Mechanic, or Heavy Plant Fitter, we would be very keen to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:

  • Service, maintain and repair specialist vehicles at customer sites.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
  • Carry out inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Work independently in a varied, field-based role.
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment to quickly identify faults.
  • Manage your own service van, tools and parts stock.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Receive ongoing training and career development.

Experience & Requirements the Mobile HGV Technician:

  • Proven background in auto-electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including use of diagnostic tools.
  • Direct HGV Technician experience
  • Hands-on experience working with HGVs and specialist vehicles.
  • Competent with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
