.We currently have an excellent opportunity for a MIG Welder to join a York based construction company responsible for creating some of the most spectacular structures in recent times, with clients across the globe this is a great time to join a company that has seen considerable growth over the last few years and continues to do so. With a 5 day work week, £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, your Birthday off, up to 34 Days holiday, healthcare for you and your family, death in service and enhanced sick pay been just a few of the many reasons to apply.

The ideal Mig welder will have;

  • Apprentice Trained, NVQ or be able to demonstrate time served experience
  • Comfortable interpreting engineering Drawings
  • FLT, Coding & Health and safety training are desirable but not essential
  • Have excellent welding and fabrications skill

The Key responsibility of this Mig welder are;

  • Fabricate components from mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as needed.
  • Ensure the highest standards in finish and tolerances according to supplied information.
  • Grind, sand, polish, and detail fabrications to achieve the required finish.
  • Utilize both hand tools and power tools.
  • Follow day-to-day production plans to meet deadlines.
  • Record completed builds in the internal database.

The working hours for this Mig welder are;

  • Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4pm
  • Overtime is available when required & paid at a premium
