Senior Engineer Lead Engineer for an international PMC with a proven track record in design and build of digital infrastructure Hyper data centers for zero-carbon environments.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical or Mechanical Engineer for the Leeds or South London office. The successful candidate must operate at a senior level with the specific expertise required to scope out full Data Center MEP plans from initial concept through to detailed design.

Role Responsibilities

  • Data Centre Scoping: Lead the development and scoping of comprehensive MEP plans specifically for large-scale data centre projects.
  • Project Leadership: Responsible for the running of large-scale projects, acting in a client-facing capacity to coordinate engineering services for Electrical or Mechanical installations.
  • Systems Design: Develops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering services.
  • Technical Assessments: Conducts surveys, testing, and dilapidation reports on existing installations.
  • Compliance: Ensures manufacturing, construction, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Client Liaison: Daily decision-making on project progress and direct liaison with clients and professional teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures all engineering calculations and drawings meet robust industry, legal, and safety standards.
  • Holistic Solutions: Leads the coordination of engineering services, taking a comprehensive view of engineering concepts and solutions.

Role Requirements

  • Senior Expertise: Significant experience in a senior-level role, specifically within the data centre sector.
  • Education: BSc/BEng degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Chartership: Working toward or having achieved Chartered Engineer status.
  • Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, BS standards, UK Regulations, and international codes.

Salary: Senior level renumeration and package.
