This Health & Safety Advisor role provides the opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business and play a key role in supporting safety improvement across a high-risk operational environment. The role offers a competitive salary, company pension scheme, private healthcare benefits, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will work closely with operational teams to support the development and delivery of the site’s H&S improvement strategy. You will play an important role in promoting safe working practices, improving compliance, analysing performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an H&S professional looking to develop their career within a complex industrial environment, gaining exposure to systems, audits, training, risk management, and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Health & Safety improvement plans across operational areas.
  • Work with teams to identify risks, improve standards, and promote safe behaviours.
  • Analyse safety data including incidents, near misses, observations, and hazard reports to identify trends and improvements.
  • Support audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Assist with the development of risk assessments, safe working practices, and documentation.
  • Deliver briefings and support H&S training activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams and influence positive performance.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction, or another high-risk industry. A NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards) would be highly advantageous, alongside strong communication skills, the ability to analyse data, and the confidence to engage and communicate stakeholders at all levels.
