An opportunity has arisen for a Fettler to join a leading engineering manufacturer on a permanent basis. Offering an early finish every Friday, regular overtime paid at enhanced rates, ongoing training, and excellent job security, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and successful business.

Key Responsibilities of the Fettler

  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Fettling, grinding, and finishing metal components to the required standard.
  • Removing excess material and preparing components for the next stage of production.
  • Supporting the fabrication and production teams with day-to-day workshop activities.
  • Moving materials and carrying out manual handling duties where required.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

We Would Be Keen to Speak with Individuals Who Have:

  • Previous experience within an engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Experience in fettling, grinding, deburring, or finishing operations would be advantageous.

In Return, the Fettler Will Receive:

  • £12.71 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
  • Permanent position with a well-established and growing manufacturer.
