38K basic £41K OTE (on call payment of £1800 pa (on call one weekend in five), plus overtime, permanent position, vehicle provided that can be used for personal use, laptop, Mobile phone

A large growing West Yorkshire compressed air distributor require a service engineer to join the team.

Duties of the Compressor Service engineer opportunity

  • Installation & commissioning of industrial air compressors and equipment.
  • Servicing of all types – screw type, hydrovane & reciprocating and ancillary equipment such as dryers and filtration etc.
  • Attending on-site breakdowns and carrying out repairs both mechanically and electrically.
  • Workshop overhauls and refurbishment of industrial air compressors.

We would welcome people to apply for the role that role have:

  • Relevant mechanical qualification to at least City & Guilds Level 3.
  • 2 years’ experience in a compressor installation or similar, servicing or repair role.
  • Experience of working with dryers would also be advantageous.
  • Be physically fit, with plenty of energy.
  • Be willing to travel.
  • Have a flexible approach to work which is sometimes outside normal working hours.
  • Be confident with customers and be able to discuss problems at all levels.
