This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer as an Engineering Stores Coordinator. This is a Monday to Friday days-based role (40 hours per week) in the area of Aldridge with a leading manufacturing company paying a base salary of £38,050 per year.

You will manage daily Engineering Stores operations, process order requests for spare parts & consumables at the correct times; handle financial reconciliation of stock and orders, and administer the computerised planned maintenance system.

Key Responsibilities of the Engineering Stores Coordinator:

  • Engineering parts and consumables stores control and stock allocation
  • The day-to-day management of the Engineering Stores
  • Conduct daily and end-of-month checks of stock levels
  • Daily check of PPE and other production-based consumables
  • Manage stock levels using CMMS
  • Carry out period stock checks of all spares (cycle counts)
  • Assist with the planning and organising parts around maintenance shutdown periods.

Experience Required for the Engineering Stores Coordinator:

  • Experience of an Engineering Stores System – stock control, computer based, PPM system
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised
  • Proven experience in Engineering Stores Coordination and Inventory control
