Following a recent change to their organizational structure, this employer is now experiencing an increased workload, and in order to cope with this and maintain their service levels, this employer is actively searching for a fully skilled CNC Miller 5 Axis to join their team on a permanent basis.

For the CNC Miller 5 Axis position, we are searching for individuals who possess the following:

• IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a Mechanical Engineering or Machining focused subject (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HND, HNC etc.) – candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered
• A strong level of experience spent working as a CNC Miller, ideally producing high precision components for strictly regulated industries (Aerospace, Medical, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence etc.)
• 5 Axis machining experience and specifically able to set machines independently – all machine brands & controls considered
• The ability to Program online from scratch using Fanuc controls – offline is also highly advantageous, all CAD/CAM software packages considered

Working Hours of the CNC Miller 5 Axis:
40 Per week, spread across a highly sociable day shift pattern

• Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 15:00
• Friday – 06:00 to 12:00

The successful CNC Miller 5 Axis will receive:

• Starting Salary: Between £35,360.00-£39,520.00 (£17.00-£19.00 per hour) depending on experience
• Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days (25 days + public holidays)
