Due to organic growth, this long-established employer is actively searching for a CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

This Huddersfield based employer is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield, Leeds, Oldham, Castleford and Pontefract.

The CNC Turner will:

  • Ideally hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC, HND or similar) – NOT ESSENTIAL
  • Have experience working as a CNC Turner, Machinist, Programmer, Setter/Operator within a high precision machining environment
  • Be capable of editing & adjusting CNC programs using Fanuc controls
  • Be able to read, interpret and work directly from engineering drawings & diagrams

Working Hours of the CNC Turner:
37.5 Hours per week rotating over AM & PM shifts:

  • AM Shift – Monday to Thursday 6AM to 2PM / Friday 6AM to 11:30AM
  • PM Shift – Monday to Thursday 2PM to 10PM / Friday 11:30AM to 5PM

In return, the CNC Turner will receive:

  • Renumeration: Up to £41,441.40 per annum depending on ability (inclusive of shift allowance)
  • Enhanced Pension Scheme: Up to 14% combined contributions
  • Holiday Entitlement: 35 Days – 27 free choice + bank holidays
