Are you a hands-on individual looking for a stable, full-time role with excellent training and overtime opportunities? This role is for a growing specialist vehicle conversion business that is expanding its workshop team due to continued success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bodyshop Technician or someone from vehicle fitting, mechanics, vehicle technician, coachbuilding, assembly, manufacturing or hands on automotive background to join a modern workshop where quality workmanship and attention to detail are valued.

As a Bodyshop Technician, you will refurbish and prepare commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are ready for resale. You’ll work on a variety of projects within a clean, well-equipped workshop, using a range of hand and power tools. Full training will be provided on any electrical aspects of the role, making this an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills.

Your responsibilities as the bodyshop technician will include:

  • Removing and refitting vehicle racking systems.
  • Repairing and replacing vehicle flooring.
  • Refurbishing vehicle interiors to a high standard.
  • Replacing interior and exterior lighting systems.
  • Removing and reinstalling vehicle conversion equipment.
  • Carrying out basic mechanical and assembly work.
  • Safely using hand and power tools.

We’re looking for a Bodyshop Technician who enjoys practical work, takes pride in delivering high-quality results and works well as part of a team.

Ideally, as our bodyshop technician you’ll have:

  • Experience in vehicle fitting, coachbuilding, refurbishment, assembly, manufacturing, technician work or maintenance or a similar hands-on environment.
  • Confidence using hand and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

As a Bodyshop Technician, you’ll enjoy:

  • £14.50p/h starting
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Monday to Friday working hours with no regular weekend work.
