OUTSIDE IR35 CONTRACT. This is an EC&I Technician position working with a globally recognised, multi-award-winning Chemical manufacturer. 6 months work initially paying £40-£46 per hour.

The company operates on an upper-tier COMAH chemical manufacturing site, employing thousands of people globally.

Responsibilities of the EC&I Technician;

  • Creating preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Carrying out function tests on control loops and safety instrumented function.
  • Control loop tuning.
  • Electrical maintenance
  • Instrument calibration and fault finding
  • Motor testing and repairs
  • ATEX inspections
  • Hazardous area remedial works
  • Planned and reactive maintenance

I am keen to speak with individuals that have previous experience as a C&I Technician, EC&I Technician, or Electrical Technician. In addition to this it would be ideal for the candidate to have COMPEX 1-4.
