We are currently recruiting for a Assembly Fitter to join our Production team in Blackpool.
This is a hands-on role working in a production environment, assembling and installing mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems to engineering specifications. You will play a key role in building high-quality Vehicle Cabins while working to production schedules and quality standards.

Location: Blackpool
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday, 7am – 4.30pm
Pay Rate: £18.43 – £19.10 per hour (Dependant on experience and qualifications) + Overtime.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Fitter :

  • Assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools.
  • Working to clear build instructions, on-screen guidance, and set production times.
  • Ensuring all products are built to a high standard and are fully functional and defect-free.
  • Identifying and reporting quality issues and supporting resolutions.
  • Maintaining consistent output while meeting targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborating with team members and supporting smooth production flow.
  • Taking ownership of quality and contributing to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Required :

  • Experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or fitting environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Confidence using hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to support overtime or additional shifts when required.
