We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Setter to join a well-established engineering manufacturer on days. Clean, modern working environment. You will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components to exact customer specifications.

Supplying into various industries including automotive, medical and food industries. Varying batch work, but predominantly lower batch work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Set-Up & Preparation:
  • Set and prepare CNC turning machines in line with production requirements
  • Install and align tooling and fixtures
  • Prove out programs and complete first-off inspections
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets for accuracy

Skills & Experience

  • Experience operating CNC turning machinery
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of tooling and measurement techniques
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM and CNC programming basics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills

This is a day-based role

Salary: £35k

Based in Leeds
