A Mechanical Sub Assembler is needed to join an international, market-leading engineering business that is at the forefront of its industry. With significant recent investment in the site and a strong order book, this is a secure and stable opportunity within a well-managed and supportive team environment.

The Mechanical Sub Assembler role is varied and hands-on, offering full product training and long-term development.
As a Mechanical Sub Assembler, you will:

  • Assemble shafts and driveline sub-assemblies
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
  • Use hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Work both independently and as part of a production team
  • Follow quality and safety standards at all times

This position would suit someone currently working as a Mechanical Fitter, Bench Fitter, Vehicle Fitter, Hydraulics Engineer etc.

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly
  • The ability to read basic engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
