Multi Skilled Engineer

An exclusive opportunity has become available to work for a prestigious manufacturing company based in Malton, North Yorkshire working 4 on 4 off days only. You will be offered a fantastic benefits package including 33 days annual leave, life assurance of 2 x basic salary, and overtime paid at time and a half to name a few. This position is working a 4 on 4 off, days only shift pattern.

This multi-site food manufacturer is ever-growing with their high-quality produce distributed across the major supermarkets in the UK. Deep-rooted in British farming, this well-established company has ties with local and UK-wide farmers creating a strong relationship within the community. You will be given the chance to upskill yourself and undergo additional training and qualifications to further develop your career as a Multi Skilled Engineer.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

• Daily repairs and maintenance of fast-moving food manufacturing machinery
• Identifying areas for continuous improvements
• Covering both reactive and planned maintenance across the site
• Fault finding and using root cause analysis
• Effectively using the PPM system and updating and keeping to the maintenance schedule

I would love to see CVs from individuals who have:

• A relevant qualification such as a City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 (Apprenticeship), in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Previously worked as a Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical/Mechanical Engineer, Multi-Skilled Technician etc.
