I manage the Chemical and Process division alongside being Associate Director of E3R. This area of industry is fast-paced, highly regulated, and constantly evolving, which makes it incredibly rewarding to work within. I take pride in supporting businesses that play such a vital role in innovation, product development, and improving everyday lives.
For me, it’s all about building meaningful partnerships with industry stakeholders. Recruitment isn’t just about filling vacancies – it’s about understanding the challenges businesses face and working collaboratively to find the right people who will truly make an impact. I enjoy being part of that process and seeing how the right hire can help transform a business or a career.
One of my proudest milestones has been building an environment that allows my team to develop, grow, and perform at their best. Watching individuals progress in their careers, gain confidence, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. Creating a culture where people feel valued and supported has been a huge part of that success.
Clients can expect dedication, market-leading knowledge, and true partnership. We take the time to understand every business we work with – their culture, challenges, and long-term goals – so we can deliver solutions that make a real difference. We pride ourselves on being consultative, responsive, and transparent every step of the way.
My biggest piece of advice would be to build honest and transparent communication channels. Leadership isn’t about telling people what to do – it’s about creating an environment where they can thrive. Focus on developing your people, recognising their strengths, and identifying opportunities for collective growth. When your team succeeds, you succeed.
One of the biggest challenges we’re seeing is the increasing cost of manufacturing, both in the UK and internationally. This impacts everything from investment and innovation to workforce planning. As the industry evolves, businesses will need to continue adapting, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and upskilling to remain competitive.
I think they’d describe me as supportive, consistent, and encouraging. I believe in leading by example, being approachable, and maintaining a steady hand even when things get challenging.
Outside of work, I like to stay active – playing football, running, and going to the gym are all part of my routine. I also enjoy socialising with friends, playing the guitar, and reading, which help me unwind and stay balanced.
Absolutely – “The show must go on.” No matter what challenges we face, it’s important to stay resilient, keep moving forward, and maintain a positive mindset.
I started out as an individual contributor, focused on building my own client base and delivering results. Over time, that evolved into a leadership role where I now manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team. It’s been a rewarding journey – from hands-on recruitment to driving strategic growth and helping others succeed.
That hard work will outperform talent when talent doesn’t work hard. I’ve been fortunate to attract and work with a talented team who also share a strong work ethic. That combination has propelled us to the forefront of the industry and helped establish E3R as a true market leader in our sector.
