Quality Inspector required for a 3-month assignment with a Cleckheaton based Engineering organization.

Established around 50 years ago and employing circa 50 people at their Huddersfield facility, this employer design, manufacture and service specialist products for a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical and Defense.

This employer is CLECKHEATON based, meaning that the successful Quality Inspector can easily commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Brighouse, Halifax, Elland, Leeds, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:

  • Working as part of a Skilled Inspection team, responsible for ensuring product compliance to internal & customer specifications
  • Using a range of measuring tools & instruments (such as Micrometres, Verniers and Callipers) to inspect precision machined components as well as incoming raw materials
  • Identifying, recording and escalating matters relating to non-conforming parts & materials

Working Hours of the Quality Inspector:
37 Hours per week spread across a permanent day shift

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00
  • Friday: 07:30 to 12:30

In return, the Quality Inspector will receive:

  • Hourly Pay Rate: Up to £14.75 per hour depending on experience
  • Holiday Allowance: 33 Days including public holidays (pro-rata)
  • Assignment Duration: 3 Months – potentially extended but not guaranteed
