Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join an established manufacturer of precision cutting tools, supplying high-quality products into a range of industrial environments. Based in Stockport, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled manufacturing team where attention to detail, quality and customer service are at the heart of what they do. You will play an important hands-on role in the production process, working with specialist equipment and demonstrating experience in Brazing or Silver Soldering, within a precision engineering environment. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with a competitive hourly rate of £13-£16 per hour.

Key Responsibilities of Production Operative:

• Working in the production environment, manufacturing and re-tipping diamond blades and core drills.
• Complete production orders accurately, efficiently and on time, ensuring all work meets required specifications.
• Develop a multi-skilled approach, supporting different production activities and adapting to changing customer demands.
• Maintain high standards of quality, and attention to detail across all tasks.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained in line with required production and customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment while following all required processes and procedures.
• Paint spraying of produced items.

Qualifications and Experience required from Production Operative:

• Competency in Brazing or Silver Soldering
• Experience with CNC machines and a FLT license is desirable but not essential.
• Production or Manufacturing environment experience.
• A willingness to conform to company values, and demonstrate reliability, positivity, dedication, flexibility and a high level of customer service.
