MONDAY to THURSDAY (Enjoy a long weekend), MORNING & AFTERNOON SHIFTS AVAILABLE, joining a leading specialist that manufactures high-quality products for the construction sector. As a Production Operative, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative team with excellent training, ongoing development, in a stable and growing business that continues to invest to remain a market leader.

Location: Near Leicester; commutable from Loughborough, Market Harborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Wigston, Coalville, Oadby, Narborough, Shepshed, Kegworth and surrounding areas

What’s in it for you as a Production Operative

AM shift:
£13.50ph starting going up to £15.60ph after training

PM shift:

£16.87ph starting then going up to £19.50ph after training

  • Productivity bonus paid weekly
  • Permanent role
  • Shifts: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Enjoy a LONG WEEKEND)
  • Shift patterns – AM shift 04:45 to 14:45 / PM shift 14:30 to 00:30

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Production Operative

  • Operating machinery and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Assembling, packing and preparing products to meet quality standards
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Conducting basic quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations

Requirements for Production Operative

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential
  • A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
