Looking for a Production Manager role where you’ll have the ownership to lead and develop your team, and make a real impact in a food manufacturing business? The Production Manager role puts you in charge of daily performance while giving you the chance to improve processes, develop capability, and drive standards in a fast-paced food environment.

About the Role

As Production Manager, you’ll lead a big food production team, managing daily operations, dealing with issues as they arise, and driving standards.

It’s a ‘hands on’ role so you’ll be in the factory directing activity, resolving problems, and motivating your team to improve engagement and performance.

You’ll also look at the longer term direction of your area – improving efficiencies, building capability, succession planning, and promoting a CI mindset within your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll deliver daily production targets while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Monitoring KPIs and performance, taking corrective actions to keep production on track.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Technical, Engineering, and Planning to meet business objectives.

About You

  • Production management experience gained in a food or drink manufacturing environment (ideally chilled or high care, but this is not essential).
  • Able to engage with and motivate a team to improve performance and adapt to change.
  • Comfortable working at pace and make critical decisions, adapting to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical, hands on approach with the credibility to lead at all levels and influence colleagues across other departments.

Why Apply?

  • Big, successful business offering plenty of opportunities for development and progression.
  • Days based role (Monday-Friday)
  • Enhanced pension and family leave, share scheme, and other benefits
