The Mechanical Assembler role offers the chance to work in a clean, structured environment with strong job security and opportunities to develop. This Mechanical Assembler position is ideal for someone with previous assembly or fitting experience looking for a long-term move.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler:

  • Assist with the assembly and testing of machinery and equipment
  • Work from engineering drawings, machine build books and SOPs
  • Carry out drilling, tapping, reaming and preparation of components
  • Fit non-electrical machine services, guarding, hydraulic hoses and auxiliary equipment
  • Maintain quality standards and follow all Health & Safety procedures
  • Complete documentation, production records and stock control

What We’re Looking For in a Mechanical Assembler:

  • Previous experience in assembly, fitting or a similar engineering environment
  • Experience working from engineering drawings
  • Strong practical hand skills and mechanical aptitude
  • A machine build background would be a distinct advantage
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexible, reliable and willing to learn new skills
