Maintenance Engineer

Location: Near Wolverhampton
Salary: £49,000 – £52,000 + Industry Leading Benefits + Regular Overtime
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be:

  • Responsible for plant-wide proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure optimum factory performance.
  • Carrying out PPM schedules and reactive maintenance activities as required.
  • Working across all mechanical and electrical elements, including:
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Conveyors
  • Motors
  • Invertors
  • Safety Circuits
  • Performing fault finding on PLCs

Extensive training will be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA Portal systems, along with further upskilling opportunities to support your technical development.


To Be Successful

To be considered for this role, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 and BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3,

    OR

  • Apprenticeship trained to Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines.

Additionally, you will need:

  • Strong planned and reactive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
  • A proven track record working as a Maintenance Engineer
