Location: Frome area, with easy commute from Bath, Bristol, Warminster, Trowbridge, Westbury, Bradford-on-Avon, Mells, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Glastonbury, Yeovil, Street, Castle Cary, Salisbury, Chippenham, Melksham, and Devizes.

MainResponsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Carry out fault finding, diagnosis and mechanical repairs
  • Support planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules and budgets
  • Improve plant reliability and maximise equipment uptime
  • Assist with installation, servicing and adjustment of mechanical components
  • Conduct daily inspections and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in line with company standards

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Background in mechanical fitting, automotive mechanics, or agricultural engineering
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced industrial environment
  • Ability to work night shifts as part of a team
  • Willingness to develop skills through training and upskilling
  • Experience in industrial maintenance is advantageous but not essential
