Role Details:

  • Job Title: HGV Technician
  • Location: Leicester
  • Salary: £45,396 per year (approx. £19.40/hr)
  • Hours: 45 hours/week (shift pattern including late and early shifts; overtime paid at 1.5x, shift allowance on lates)

What You’ll Be Doing as a HGV Technician:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and inspections on a variety of trucks and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across multiple vehicle makes, both franchised and non-franchised.
  • Use manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems and tools to identify and rectify issues.
  • Accurately complete job cards, service records, and other documentation in line with warranty requirements.

About You:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (time-served candidates with strong experience will also be considered).
  • HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
