FLT Driver

DAYS ONLY, Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm. joining a recognised industry leader as an FLT Driver. We are looking for a reliable and proactive FLT Driver who enjoys working as part of a team, maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement. What’s in it for you as an FLT Driver

• £15.05 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm
• Overtime available at enhanced rates of 1.5x and 2x after 48 hours
• 3-month temporary-to-permanent opportunity
• 31 days’ holiday pro rata, increasing upon permanent employment
• Days only – no night shifts
• Training provided
• Location: Whittlesey, commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Huntingdon, March, Spalding, Bourne, Wisbech, Grantham, Oundle, Ely, Corby, Kettering, Bedford and Northampton

Requirements for an FLT Driver

• Valid Fork Lift Truck (FLT) licence
• Previous manufacturing or production experience desirable
• Ability to work to quality and safety standards
• Experience monitoring machinery and reporting faults
• Comfortable carrying out product quality checks
• Full UK driving licence due to site location

Main Responsibilities of an FLT Driver

• Safely and efficiently operate Fork Lift Trucks
• Operate production machinery, with full training provided
• Produce high-quality products in line with required standards
• Monitor machinery performance and report any issues
• Carry out product quality checks and escalate concerns where required
• Carry out manual handling and movement of products
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support 5S activities, including daily cleaning
• Work as part of a multi-skilled production team within a modern manufacturing environment
