An established manufacturer in Keighley is recruiting an Assembly Team Leader to join its growing operation. This is a permanent opportunity offering a four-day working week, long weekends and excellent long-term stability.

Due to continued growth and new product introduction, the business is seeking a skilled Assembly Team Leader with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background. This role is ideal for someone ready to lead from the front while developing within a technical manufacturing environment.

Working as an Assembly Team Leader, you will:

  • Carry out hands-on build and test activities
  • Lead, train and support colleagues on new and existing products within the assembly function
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and support technical build requirements
  • Maintain and update BOMs and routings
  • Drive 5S, Lean and continuous improvement activities as an Assembly Team Leader
  • Assist with fault finding and root cause analysis

Skills & Experience:

  • Electro-mechanical manufacturing or assembly experience
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Experience working with BOMs and manufacturing systems
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Team-focused approach within an Assembly Team Leader environment

Salary & Benefits:

  • £28,000-£30,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:45 (37 hours)
  • Permanent, secure position
  • Ongoing training and development

Based in Keighley, this position is easily commutable from Bradford, Bingley, Skipton, Ilkley, Shipley, Halifax and Huddersfield.
