Opportunity to join a leading food manufacturer and support the Technical team with day to day food quality, safety, and compliance activities. Ideal opportunity for somebody looking to move into a technical/quality role and gain ‘hands on’ experience.

About the Role

The site produces a range of chilled foods for major retail customers and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with production teams, providing technical support to improve and maintain food safety and quality standards.
  • Supporting traceability exercises, allergen controls, and non-conformance investigations.
  • Assisting with internal, retailer, and BRC audits.
  • Helping to manage specifications, calibration systems, and technical documentation.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Food Science or similar, or with prior experience in a technical/quality role in food production.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety systems and standards (HACCP, BRC, GMP).
  • Proactive approach to food safety and able to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Confident working with colleagues at all levels.
