About the Assembly Fitter
We are seeking an experienced and motivated assembly fitter to join a friendly, supportive team working in a modern, clean, and highly equipped workshop in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established, UK-leading vehicle conversion environment, specialising in bespoke builds and high-quality commercial vehicle fit-outs. Full training, ongoing support, and all tools are provided.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Fitter
In this role, you will be working on brand-new vehicle conversions, carrying out high-quality installations including:

  • Fitting racking, shelving, flooring, and specialist vehicle equipment
  • Safely manoeuvring vehicles within the workshop environment
  • Reading and interpreting build instructions accurately
  • Carrying out basic electrical fitting (full training provided)
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Who We’re Looking For in the Assembly Fitter
We are keen to speak with practical, hands-on individuals for this role, especially those from backgrounds such as:

  • Coachbuilding or bodywork
  • Joinery, carpentry, or kitchen fitting
  • Welding or fabrication
  • Vehicle mechanics (semi-skilled or skilled)
  • Electrical or installation work
  • General DIY, maintenance, or handyperson roles
