Maisie Cope

I specialise in recruitment within the Automotive & Fleet sector, with a particular focus on conversions and HGVs. Most of the roles I work on are core operational and support positions: Administrators, Customer Service, Planners, Supervisors, and Warehouse staff. These roles are the backbone of any business, and I enjoy helping organisations find the right people to keep everything running smoothly.

What do you enjoy most about working in recruitment?

The most rewarding part of recruitment for me is placing someone into a new role and seeing the positive impact it has. One of my proudest moments was placing an Accounts Assistant, a Buyer, and a Production Planner all within three months. Seeing how quickly those hires helped transform a client’s operation was a real highlight.

How have you developed in your career?

I’ve learned everything on the job since starting in recruitment. Alongside that, I completed a Level 3 in Business Administration & Management with distinction and have gradually taken on more responsibility, managing more clients and becoming more independent in how I work. That hands-on experience has shaped me. I’m reliable, transparent, and I always prioritise strong communication with the clients and candidates I support.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is to stay aware and be on the front foot. Recruitment moves fast, and being proactive is essential to getting results.

What would you say to anyone looking for a new role in the automotive & fleet industry?

My advice to candidates is to highlight your strengths clearly on your CV and stay open-minded. You might be surprised how many transferable skills you have, and there are often great opportunities if you’re willing to try something new.

What is it like working at E3R?

At E3R, it’s the people that make the biggest difference. It’s a genuinely friendly, supportive, and fun place to work. You can talk to anyone, and there’s a family feel that makes coming into work something to look forward to.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to play football, go to the gym, go shopping, and spending time with friends. My colleagues would probably describe me as funny, empathetic, and independent, and I try to bring that energy into my work every day.

If you had a motto what would it be?

It would be simple: keep going. No matter the challenge, I always push forward.
