An opportunity for a number of Mig Welders to join a specialist steel and manufacturing business that operate from a 300,000 sq ft premises. Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a number of Mig Welders on a Permanent Contract.
Our client operate from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which includes fabrication with robotics, semi-automated and manual welding stations and at its height processed and fabricated 30,000 tonnes of Steel Annually.
Our client handle all sizes and types of work from carbon steel to aluminium and it works in a range of sectors including defence and security and they have recently won a multi-million pound contract in the rail industry.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
*Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded.
*Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and requirements.
*Perform welding activities on a wide range of components in carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium and other metals as may be required from time to time.
*Fully satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale.
*To promote and encourage best practice in welding and welding procedures.
KEEN TO SPEAK TO :
* Skilled Mig Welders.
* Semi-Skilled Mig Welders.
* Welders who can pass Weld tests to 10mil multi Runs, 6mil t fillets, Overhead Run and V-butt welds.
THE OFFER :
*A lucrative sum up to £12.53 to £14.10 per hour.
