Looking for a new and challenge opportunity as a Training Officer, this prestigious company is growing rapidly, they are always open to new talent to add to the diverse environment. As an officer you will be surrounded by long standing employees.

The 20-year-old company itself is a multi-million-pound turnover business and is growing every day, they employ thousands of people and they are known for their good staff retention. This position has come available due to expansion within the Health and Safety Department.

Day to day activities will involve;

  • Planning & organisation of site development activities, including on the job and off the job exercises.
  • Managing day to day activities including inductions for all new starters to the business and refresher training across site
  • Supporting the delivery of all shop floor training
  • Coaching and support to site trainers on any related queries
  • Provide support to Health & safety team on training related activity
  • Ensuring site policies and procedures are trained out effectively
  • Review site compliance registers, ensuring trained employees remain in date of their refresher periods
  • Update and record all training KPI’s and collate required reports
  • Maintain Training records for current employees and leavers.
  • Identify needs working with Department Head
  • Auditing standards of training delivered in compliance to legislative and business requirements to include BRC and ISO45001

Candidates Experience required:

  • Experience in working in a similar position within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Professional Learning & Development qualification ideally a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)
  • To be flexible to work in different environments & shift patterns
  • Clear, articulate & confident communicator with an engaging and influential approach
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
  • Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety e.g., Food Hygiene, H&S, BRC etc
  • Passion for learning and development
