Roles and Responsibilities as a Technical Co-Ordinator:

  • To support the Technical Manager in maintaining product quality, safety and legality throughout the company.
  • Manage KPI reports.
  • Monitor safety, legality and quality issues in relation to raw material, WIP and finished goods in production, manage internal audits, technical testing and non-conformances.
  • Assisting in developing the quality management systems and processes.
  • Liaise with internal departments (planning, technical, hygiene amongst others.
  • Management and monitoring of complaints.
  • Helping with customer and third-party audits: BRC, BMPA, Red Tractor, EHO and Trading Standards.
  • Manage the site quality and internal audit schedules effectively.

It would be great to see CVS’s from individuals who have:

  • HACCP and Food Safety Level 3.
  • Worked as a Technical Co-Ordinator within manufacturing.
  • An understanding of HACCP, BRC, KPI’S and GMP’S.
  • Worked in a meat environment would be desirable but not essential, however, experience within the food manufacturing industry is essential for this position.
  • Trained in food safety and hazard analysis.
  • Assisted with internal and external audits.
  • Experience as a Technical Assistant, Quality Co-Ordinator, Technical Co-Ordinator.
